  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, procurement plans, and project execution strategies.
  • Coordinate with project superintendents, general foremen, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to support daily project activities.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and progress to help ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • Assist in identifying project risks, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget performance.
  • Help coordinate project activities from preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover.
  • Maintain accurate project records, schedules, reports, and documentation.

Financial & Contract Management

  • Assist with monitoring project financial performance, including labor productivity, material costs, equipment expenses, and cost-to-complete projections.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope documents to understand project requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and track change orders, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, and other project documentation.
  • Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, control costs, and maintain profitability.
  • Support the Project Manager in reviewing invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor documentation.

Mission-Critical Construction Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating electrical construction activities involving critical power infrastructure, including medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and associated electrical systems, as applicable to project scope.
  • Coordinate equipment procurement, material deliveries, and vendor schedules to help prevent project delays.
  • Work with field leadership and other trade partners to support the integration of electrical, mechanical, controls, fire protection, and security systems.
  • Assist with commissioning preparation, equipment startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and project turnover.
  • Track long-lead equipment and materials to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
  • Develop an understanding of the safety, quality, redundancy, and reliability requirements associated with mission-critical facilities.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Support Project Managers in communicating with owners, general contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist with documenting meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up requirements.
  • Communicate project updates, outstanding issues, and schedule concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Build positive working relationships with field personnel, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Help resolve project coordination issues and maintain alignment between field and office teams.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in electrical construction, commercial construction, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting construction project management teams preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical construction practices, project scheduling, cost tracking, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
