As a mid-level Subcontracts Administrator, you will manage cradle-to-grave subcontract activities with increasing autonomy. You will support moderate to highly complex subcontract actions, conduct price analysis using multiple techniques, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a key advisor to program teams during acquisition planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage subcontracts in accordance with company policy, FAR/DFARS, CAS, TINA, and customer requirements.
  • Independently analyze solicitations and provide solution-oriented recommendations for acquisition strategies and subcontract approaches.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute moderately complex subcontracts, modifications, NDAs, TAs, and related procurement documents.
  • Conduct price analysis using competitive quotes, published price data, cost analysis techniques, and other recognized methodologies.
  • Develop and complete PSFs, Negotiation Memoranda, and documentation packages for audit ready subcontract files.
  • Perform market research and complete commercial item determinations, including Section 8 documentation for actions over $750K.
  • Issue RFx solicitations for new procurement needs and subcontract modifications; evaluate subcontractor proposals for compliance and price reasonableness.
  • Manage P2P workflow queues and ensure timely processing of actions, approvals, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Retrieve data from SCORE and coordinate resolution of missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Provide professional, solution based communication to internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Mentor junior team members when needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, contracts, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of direct experience in government subcontract administration.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA, EEO requirements, and other public law limits.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft PSFs, negotiation memoranda, and complete moderately complex subcontract files.
  • Experience conducting price analysis using multiple methodologies.
  • Ability to issue and manage RFx packages for new and modified requirements.
  • Proficiency with P2P procurement systems and document workflow tools (e.g., SCORE).

  • Ability to manage multiple subcontract actions simultaneously with limited oversight.

Desired:

  • Experience with P2P, Ariba, or enterprise procurement systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, comparative analysis).
  • Knowledge of CPSR audit expectations.
  • CFCM/CCCM or similar certification preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
