The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Web Developer to build, enhance, and maintain web-based applications supporting a government customer. Using technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, C#/.NET, and SQL, you’ll help turn business needs into functional, user-focused solutions. With a portfolio of more than 100 applications, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different systems, solve a variety of technical challenges, and continue expanding your development skills. Your work may include developing new features, troubleshooting defects, creating web API integrations, supporting data conversion efforts, or exploring new technical solutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore AI-assisted development tools, such as Roo Code, and learn how to incorporate AI into your everyday workflow. Whether developing new capabilities, resolving technical issues, or finding more efficient approaches, you’ll help deliver reliable, maintainable solutions that support application performance, usability, and long-term supportability.

Responsibilities: • Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain web-based applications, including custom, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions. • Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX developers, subject matter experts, and technical team members to translate functional requirements into effective application solutions. • Estimate development and enhancement efforts and assess the potential impact of proposed software changes. • Develop technical specifications, write maintainable application code, and perform unit testing. • Build and maintain web APIs, application interfaces, data-conversion routines, and SQL-based data solutions. • Use AWS services to develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based applications. • Follow program configuration management, change-control, coding, and release-management standards. • Participate in formal testing, troubleshoot application issues using code, logs, data, and system behavior, and resolve defects before code is promoted to production. • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, usability, security, and long-term maintainability. • Stay current with application features, technical updates, modern development practices, and responsible uses of AI-assisted development tools. Qualifications:

Required: • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant web development or software development experience. • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. • Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. • Experience developing web applications using C#/.NET and Bootstrap. • Experience using AWS services to develop, deploy, troubleshoot, or support cloud-based applications. • Working knowledge of SQL, web development principles, programming practices, and coding standards. • Ability to manage competing priorities, troubleshoot technical issues, and work effectively in a dynamic team environment. • Self-motivated, with the ability to identify tasks, take initiative, and contribute to team objectives. Desired: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional. • Experience with Python. • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and practices. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools or an interest in applying AI to software development workflows. • Knowledge of or experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environments. • Familiarity with responsive web design, web accessibility, or Section 508 requirements. • CompTIA Security+ certification.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
