The posting

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Product Strategy & Implementation team as a Supplier Manager, responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of CACI's third-party data supplier portfolio. You will be the primary relationship owner for our key data providers, ensuring that we continue to maximise the value of our extensive data partnerships while identifying new opportunities to enhance our products, services and commercial offerings. Working closely with Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal and Data teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring that CACI maintains access to high-quality data assets that support our market-leading solutions. A key aspect of the role will be the commercial management of supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, pricing structures, renewals and licensing agreements. You will be responsible for managing a significant data procurement budget, ensuring expenditure is planned, controlled and aligned with business priorities whilst delivering value for money. Success in this role will require strong commercial acumen, the ability to build trusted supplier relationships, a solid understanding of data licensing and contractual arrangements, and the confidence to influence stakeholders across the business.

Who you are The ideal candidate would consider themselves an expert in supplier relationship management, commercial negotiation and data partnership management.

You are a commercially-minded professional who can build strong long-term partnerships whilst ensuring the best outcomes for the business. You are a confident negotiator, capable of balancing supplier relationships with commercial objectives and budget targets. You are highly organised and process-driven, with strong attention to detail and governance. You are comfortable managing multiple supplier relationships and commercial priorities simultaneously. You are self-motivated, proactive and willing to take ownership of a critical business function. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and can effectively engage with colleagues at all levels across the organisation. You have a strong understanding of data products and the role that third-party data plays in delivering commercial value. You can interpret contractual, financial and legal information and translate complex issues into practical business decisions.

Your skills, knowledge and experience It is important that you have:

Previous experience managing third-party suppliers, partnerships or vendor relationships. Experience working with data products, data suppliers or data licensing arrangements. Demonstrable commercial negotiation experience, including pricing, contract renewals and supplier agreements. Experience managing significant budgets and delivering against financial targets. Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budget management and cost control. Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial contracts and legal agreements. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally. Experience identifying and evaluating new commercial opportunities and supplier partnerships. A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes. High levels of organisation, attention to detail and accountability.

Whilst not essential, the following skills would also be desirable:

Experience working within a data, analytics, software or technology business. Knowledge of data licensing, intellectual property rights and data governance principles. Experience managing royalty-based commercial agreements. Familiarity with procurement and supplier governance processes. Understanding of GDPR and the regulatory considerations associated with data procurement and usage. Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Legal and Commercial teams. A communicative person who can explain and negotiate complex commercial and contractual matters in a clear and practical way.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
