Présentation du poste :

Le poste de Comptable Généraliste apporte un soutien opérationnel aux activités de comptabilité et de contrôle de gestion dans le cadre de la transition vers le groupe Cadence.

Ce poste garantit que les opérations financières sont enregistrées avec précision, correctement documentées et reportées dans les délais, tout en contribuant au maintien de contrôles financiers solides.

Responsabilités principales :

  • Piloter les activités comptables quotidiennes en coordination avec l’équipe comptable
  • Préparer et réviser les écritures comptables, provisions, régularisations et rapprochements de comptes
  • Contrôler le grand livre général et garantir l’exactitude et l’exhaustivité des données comptables mensuelles
  • Analyser les écarts comptables et coordonner la mise en œuvre rapide des actions correctives
  • Prendre en charge les opérations de clôture mensuelle et annuelle
  • Coordonner le calendrier de clôture comptable et les livrables associés
  • Préparer et réviser les rapprochements de bilan et les justificatifs associés
  • Contribuer à la préparation des comptes statutaires, aux demandes d’audit et à la documentation fiscale en coordination avec les parties prenantes internes et externes
  • Accompagner la transition vers Cadence et renforcer les processus comptables
  • Participer à l’alignement des pratiques comptables locales avec les politiques et exigences de reporting de Cadence
  • Réviser et améliorer les processus Procure-to-Pay (P2P) et de comptabilité fournisseurs
  • Documenter les procédures comptables et contribuer à la robustesse des contrôles internes
  • Agir en tant que référent comptable senior
  • Apporter des conseils aux membres de l’équipe et revoir les travaux comptables lorsque nécessaire
  • Coordonner les sujets comptables avec la Finance, les centres de services partagés, les auditeurs et les autres parties prenantes
  • Identifier les risques, définir les priorités et assurer la résolution des problématiques avec une supervision limitée

Profil recherché :

  • Diplôme de niveau Bac+3 à Bac+5 en comptabilité, finance, contrôle de gestion ou domaine équivalent
  • Plus de 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle
  • Solides connaissances en comptabilité et contrôle de gestion
  • Environnement international : maîtrise de l’anglais indispensable

Compétences et atouts complémentaires :

  • La connaissance des normes US GAAP est un plus
  • Une expérience sur l’ERP SAGE X3 est un plus
  • Une expérience sur SAP est un plus

Job Title: Accounting Generalist

Location: Cesson-Sévigné, Rennes, Bretagne

Reports to: Julie ROSE, Sr Finance Manager

Type of contract : 12 months fixed-term contract

Job Overview:

The Accounting Generalist role provides operational support to the accounting and controlling activities during the transition to Cadence group.

The role ensures that financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and reported on time, while helping maintain strong financial controls.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day accounting activities in coordination with the accounting team
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions and account reconciliations
  • Review the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly accounting data
  • Investigate accounting discrepancies and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Take ownership of monthly and year-end closing activities
  • Coordinate the accounting close timetable and key deliverables
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Support statutory accounts, audit requests and tax-related documentation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the transition to Cadence and strengthen accounting processes
  • Help align local accounting practices with Cadence policies and reporting requirements
  • Review and improve procure-to-pay and accounts payable processes
  • Document accounting procedures and contribute to robust internal controls
  • Act as a senior accounting point of contact
  • Provide guidance to team members and review accounting work when required
  • Coordinate accounting topics with Finance, shared services, auditors and other stakeholders
  • Identify risks, set priorities and drive issues through to resolution with limited supervision

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors to Master's degree in accounting, finance, controlling or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and controlling
  • International environment; proficiency in English is required

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
  • Experience with ERP SAGE X3 is a plus
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
