Our client is seeking a Procurement Lead to drive the EPC contract strategy and execution for cross-border infrastructure projects, manage sourcing and vendor relationships, ensure contract compliance, and collaborate with teams to optimize procurement outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract strategy and execution to drive timely, efficient, and risk-smart delivery of cross-border infrastructure.
  • Oversee the full sourcing lifecycle for goods and services by ensuring that deals align with company policy, delivers value, and supports system reliability.
  • Craft and implement sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk at every project phase.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with strategic vendors by tracking performance, driving collaboration, and troubleshooting issues swiftly.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and suppliers by determining terms that protect our interests while maintaining resilient partnerships.
  • Work in close alignment with technical and commercial team to ensure procurement approach supports project objectives
  • Monitor and enforce contractual commitments across the project lifecycle to resolve issues early and keep delivery on track.
  • Maintain detailed records of legal documents and payment terms to ensure full compliance, clarity, and accountability at all project phases.
  • Develop knowledge and database of suppliers, products, and market intel to effectively elevate sourcing outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience with progressive procurement and managing EPC contracts in the energy industry.
  • Familiarity with transmission infrastructure, manufacturing and installation processes, and engineering services procurement
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to collaborate, influence, balance multiple priorities and solve problems
  • Self-driven, positive and enthusiastic
  • Enjoy interacting with people and possess good verbal and written skills.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience in SAP and/or procurement systems will be advantageous
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (required for effective communications with Mandarin-speaking partners)
