Job Title - Document Controller

About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage, track, and maintain all project documentation in accordance with established procedures and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control & Management Maintain, organize, and control all incoming and outgoing project documents. Ensure documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in physical and digital formats. Manage document numbering, version control, and revision tracking. Coordination & Distribution Distribute drawings, specifications, and correspondence to relevant stakeholders. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely document flow. Track document submissions, approvals, and transmittals.

Quality & Compliance Ensure all documents comply with company procedures and project standards. Support QA/QC teams by maintaining quality-related records and logs. Assist during audits by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation. Reporting & Tracking Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals. Generate periodic reports on document status and outstanding items. Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending documents. Project Support & Close-Out Assist project teams with documentation required for project handover. Ensure all records are complete, approved, and archived properly. Support document close-out activities at project completion.

Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction projects. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
