Job Title - Product Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically-capable Product Trainer to support the growth of our aftermarket automotive spare parts business. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective training programs to internal sales teams, distribution partners and external stakeholders communicating product features, benefits and value propositions of our spare-parts portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, organise and deliver training sessions (in-person and online) on spare parts product lines, applications, specifications, value-adds and competitive differentiators.

Prepare training materials, technical product presentations, manuals, quick-reference guides and e-learning modules tailored to different audiences: sales teams, distributors, mechanics and end-users.

Collaborate with product, marketing and sales teams to ensure that training content aligns with product launches, promotional campaigns and business objectives.

Conduct needs assessment (internal & partner sales teams), gather feedback and continuously update training content to improve effectiveness and relevance.

Facilitate product demos, workshops and train-the-trainer sessions; engage participants and instil product knowledge, selling confidence and brand enthusiasm.

Monitor training outcomes and track key performance indicators (e.g., number of sessions delivered, participant feedback scores, knowledge-retention rates, impact on sales).

Serve as a product ambassador: remain up-to-date on product features, market trends, competitor offerings and technical developments in the aftermarket spare parts industry.

Coordinate logistics for training events: scheduling, materials, venue/virtual platforms, participant lists, travel (if required) and post-session follow-ups.

Support external events such as product launches, exhibitions and partner meetings by delivering training or product briefings as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Automotive / Mechanical) or equivalent technical discipline.

Minimum 35 years experience in training, product education or sales support roles ideally within the automotive aftermarket/spare parts industry.

Strong product knowledge of automotive spare parts (e.g., suspension, brake systems, ignition, filters) or willingness to rapidly acquire it.

Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage diverse audiences (technical and sales).

Experienced in preparing training content, delivering workshops, webinars and managing learning sessions.

Comfortable working with digital learning platforms, e-learning content creation or LMS tools is a plus.

Fluency in English required; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.

Willingness to travel (within UAE and region) for training delivery, if needed.

Key Competencies & Behaviours

Passionate about training and learning: enjoys sharing knowledge, developing others and improving capability.

Clear communicator: able to articulate complex technical features into understandable value propositions for sales/partners.

Customer-focused: understands end-user and distributor needs, tailors content accordingly and drives adoption.

Adaptable and proactive: keeps updating training materials, responds to feedback and improves continuously.

Presentation-ready and personable: confident in front of groups, engaging and persuasive.

Organised and detail-oriented: ensures training logistics, materials, scheduling and follow-up are well managed.

What We Offer

Competitive salary and benefits aligned with UAE market for training/technical roles.

Opportunity to play a key role in the aftermarket automotive/spare parts industry working with product innovation, partner networks and training excellence.

Professional development and growth opportunities in training, product marketing and sales enablement.

A collaborative, supportive environment with exposure to technical, sales and marketing disciplines.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
