Salary: Up to AED 20,000 (Negotiable, subject to experience)

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in a Payment Solutions Provider, PSP, Acquiring Bank, or Fintech environment

Reports to: Head of Support

About Us

We are a global Payment Service Provider (PSP) delivering card services and a wide range of payment solutions to merchants worldwide. With offices in Limassol and Dubai, we work with clients across diverse industries, offering secure, efficient, and innovative payment processing.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Payments Technical Lead to join our Dubai office. This is a key role as the first technical hire in the region, contributing to our global support operations. You will manage complex payment-related issues, analyse transaction data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise payment processes.

As the business grows, you will also take on responsibilities for building and managing a Dubai-based technical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for payment operations in the Dubai office.
  • Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues, including authorisations, declines, chargebacks, refunds, and settlements.
  • Analyse payment data and system logs to identify trends, optimise approval rates, and improve efficiency.
  • Support merchant onboarding, integration testing, and API configurations.
  • Collaborate with acquirers, card schemes, risk teams, product managers, and developers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
  • Prepare clear incident reports, root cause analyses, and performance dashboards.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and managing future technical team members in Dubai.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a PSP, acquiring bank, or fintech environment.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, card scheme operations, and transaction lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using spreadsheets, reconciliation reports, and transaction data.
  • Familiarity with APIs, payment gateways, and integration testing (basic scripting or SQL knowledge is an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and collaborative in a multi-office environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
