As a member of the Enterprise Data Management and Governance team, our Manager, Enterprise Data Governance leads enterprise-wide data governance operations and Cambia data platform governance—driving data stewardship, metadata management, data quality, data classification, and semantic layer governance—all in service of creating an economically sustainable health care system.

What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Data Management, or related technical field, and 5+ years in data governance operations, 3+ years of people management experience leading technical and/or business-facing teams, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Extensive experience leading data governance operations including data stewardship, metadata management, data quality initiatives, data classification, and semantic layer governance with contextual metadata management
- Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake, including governance features, data governance platforms, and data catalog tools
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards that enable AI-ready data understanding
- Experience supporting both legacy and modern enterprise technology environments, with familiarity with compliance requirements related to data governance
- Ability to contribute hands-on to technical work across data governance activities
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop business-facing and technical teams, including managing both FTE and contractor resources
- Strong project and program management capabilities with ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate work across multiple teams and functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences, with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and business needs for technical teams
- Demonstrated outcome-focused leadership and accountability with ability to manage dotted-line relationships effectively
- Quality-driven mindset, strategic thinking combined with operational execution, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to balance compliance, operational efficiency, and business enablement with a change management and process improvement orientation
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
What You Will Do at Cambia:
- Manage enterprise data governance operations and data governance activities for the Cambia Data Platform, including data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data classification, and semantic layer governance to enable AI-ready data understanding
- Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Partner with data domain leaders to advance governance maturity across the enterprise and build a strong data stewardship community
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data governance efficiency and effectiveness, and establish and track key performance indicators for governance operations
- Directly manage team members—including FTE and contractor resources—responsible for data governance operations, conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and supporting professional development
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and business units to ensure data governance supports business objectives
- Develop and execute strategic plans for enterprise data governance and Cambia Data Platform governance while balancing operational demands with strategic initiatives and contributing hands-on to team deliverables as needed
- Oversee data governance activities that support data quality, lineage, and metadata management to create trusted, well-understood data assets

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.
- National pay structure — applies to the Boise, Portland, Salem, Seattle/Renton/Tacoma, Burlington, Vancouver, Lewiston, and Salt Lake City metro areas: The full salary range is $ $141,000-$231,000 and the bonus target is 17%.
- Regional pay structure — applies to North Dakota and to Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Utah locations outside the metro areas listed above: The full salary range is $ $127,000 - $208,000 and the bonus target is 17%.
