The posting

Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and curious Junior Digital Learning Specialist to join our Learning & Development team and help shape the future of learning at Cambridge Consultants.

The Learning & Development team is made up of 4 colleagues and sits within our wider Global People department of 20. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a range of digital learning activities, from creating engaging learning content and managing learning technology to exploring how AI can help us make learning more effective.

This is a role for someone who is eager to get stuck in, take responsibility and develop their expertise. You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable learning as they go, enjoys trying new things and is excited by the opportunity to build their skills across learning, technology and AI.

You’ll have your own areas of responsibility, with the support of the wider L&D team when you need it. As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to take on more complex projects and contribute to the development of our wider learning approach.

We are able to offer a flexible working environment, but you will be expected to visit the office at least once a week.

Responsibilities

Your role will be varied, and we expect it to evolve as you build your experience. Here are some examples of the types of things you’ll be involved in and responsible for:

Digital Learning Design

  • Design and develop engaging digital learning solutions using modern learning design principles.
  • Create a range of learning assets including learning pathways, guides, videos, job aids, digital resources and blended learning experiences.
  • Work with subject matter experts across the business to translate complex topics into accessible, engaging learning solutions.
  • Ensure learning content is aligned to business priorities, learner needs and organisational capability requirements.
  • Continually evaluate and improve learner experiences based on feedback and data.

AI-Enabled Learning

  • Explore and apply AI tools to improve the efficiency, quality and scalability of learning design and delivery, in line with CC’s AI policy.
  • Support the development of AI learning and capability initiatives across the organisation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled learning solutions.
  • Stay up to date with developments in generative AI, learning technologies and emerging workplace skills.
  • Champion innovative approaches to learning and performance support.

Learning Technology & Systems

  • Act as a key administrator and super-user for learning platforms, including LearnUpon, Articulate 360 and other digital learning tools.
  • Manage learning pathways, content libraries and learner experiences within our learning ecosystem.
  • Support the implementation, optimisation and adoption of new learning technologies.
  • Work with internal and external partners to resolve system issues and enhance functionality.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's digital learning strategy.

Learning Analytics & Insights

  • Produce reports and insights on learner engagement, completion rates and learning impact.
  • Use data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Support evaluation activities to measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and reporting and support audit-readiness.

Stakeholder Partnership & Communications

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Support the promotion and communication of learning opportunities and initiatives.
  • Contribute to campaigns that drive learner engagement and adoption.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on making effective use of learning technologies and digital learning resources.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive and keen to build on their career in digital learning. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of your work, asking questions when you need to and finding ways to move things forward.

We’re particularly interested in people who have:

  • Experience working in Learning & Development, Digital Learning, Learning Technology or a related field.
  • Experience designing and developing digital learning solutions.
  • An understanding of adult learning principles and learner engagement.
  • Experience using learning technologies and learning management systems.
  • An appreciation of learning analytics and evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience supporting organisational capability or skills development initiatives.
  • Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with others from across the business
  • An interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to experiment and learn.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other generative AI tools.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
