Here, you will make a difference every day. You will be supported to build a rewarding career with opportunities to grow, innovate and inspire. Make history with us.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Warehouse Crew team member, you will help keep warehouse operations safe, accurate, and efficient by receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing products and point-of-sale (POS) materials. You will operate material-handling equipment and may operate a Company delivery vehicle and make deliveries based on business needs.

Pay: $22.25/hour Shift: 1st Shift

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

Warehouse responsibilities

  • Receive, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized products and POS materials using appropriate manual and powered material-handling equipment.
  • Sort, stage, and store products and POS materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and assemble customer orders from inventory, place orders on pallets, stretch-wrap pallets, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Accurately identify and count products and POS materials being received, stored, picked, or redistributed.
  • Verify quantities of products and POS materials received and identify discrepancies.
  • Label incoming products with appropriate identifying information, including date code, product description/code, and case count.
  • Label outgoing products with required routing and location information, including route/BIN location and pallet count.
  • Operate forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
  • Prepare and organize inventory for daily cycle counts and warehouse picking/shopping activities.
  • Complete required daily powered-equipment inspection/maintenance checklists and report damaged, unsafe, or defective equipment.
  • Follow applicable product-rotation, inventory-control, sanitation, hygienic, and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Participate in scheduled warehouse cleaning and sanitation activities.
  • Maintain warehouse work areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Delivery responsibilities, when assigned

  • Make deliveries to stores, BIN locations, and other warehouses according to scheduled delivery routes.
  • Load and unload the assigned delivery vehicle safely.
  • Use the required handheld device to accurately record applicable delivery, sales, and/or checkout transactions.
  • Pick up empty containers, pallets, rejected products, and returned merchandise as required.
  • Maintain the interior of the assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and applicable logs.
  • Check required vehicle fluid levels and report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Follow Company motor-vehicle operation requirements and all applicable driving and safety requirements.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH…

You will work under direct supervision and partner with warehouse, distribution, inventory, and delivery team members to maintain a safe, clean, accurate, and efficient warehouse operation. When performing delivery responsibilities, you may also interact with employees and customers at stores, BIN locations, and other warehouse facilities.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for operating assigned Company vehicles, when driving responsibilities are assigned.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of the Company's Qualifications for Motor Vehicle Operation Policy when operating a Company vehicle.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required forklift/material-handling equipment certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to complete routine reports, records, and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions and resolve routine problems using sound judgment.
  • Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work safely around powered industrial equipment, moving machinery, warehouse traffic, and varying indoor/outdoor environmental conditions.

Physical requirements

While performing this job, the employee regularly stands, walks, uses hands to handle objects or equipment, reaches, stoops, kneels, crouches, and communicates with others. The employee may also sit, climb, or balance.

The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Any expectation involving movement of heavier loads should be reviewed against the Company's material-handling and team-lift/equipment requirements rather than relying solely on an “occasionally more than 100 pounds” statement.

The position requires the visual abilities necessary to safely perform warehouse and, when applicable, vehicle-operating responsibilities.

Work environment

The employee may work around moving mechanical equipment and may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, dust, noise, temperature variations, fumes or airborne particles, and cleaning or other chemicals associated with warehouse operations.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

  • 1–2 years of box-truck, commercial delivery, or similar professional driving experience.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, order-picking, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment.
  • Experience using handheld warehouse, inventory, or delivery devices.

Warehouse duties I would consider adding or clarifying

The existing list captures the primary warehouse activities. I would specifically make sure these areas are accounted for:

  • Receiving discrepancies/damage Add responsibility for identifying and reporting shortages, overages, damaged product, or other receiving discrepancies. Simply “verifying amounts received” doesn't fully describe the accountability.
  • Product rotation If this warehouse handles dated food/beverage/consumer products, explicitly include following the Company's required product-rotation method. The existing date-code requirement strongly suggests that rotation matters.
  • Safe staging/stacking Consider explicitly stating that product must be safely stacked, staged, and stored according to warehouse requirements.
  • Inventory accuracy Daily cycle-count preparation is included, but if the employee actually performs cycle counts, say so. Preparing inventory for a count and conducting/reconciling a count aren't the same responsibility.
  • Damage/unsafe-condition reporting You already have this for powered equipment. I'd expand it to include damaged product, spills, warehouse hazards, and unsafe conditions if that is part of the role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
