Position suitable for ECTs

Pupils are at the heart of what we do. Providing the best education will give our pupils the best life chances and we will go above and beyond to make this happen. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and determined Teacher of History with excellent communication skills to teach the full age and ability range in Key Stages 3 and 4 in a well-resourced department. The post will also require some teaching of Key Stage 3 Geography, Religious Studies, or Social Studies (Personal Development). The successful candidate will share our vision of achieving excellence and raising outcomes.

Teaching at Cams Hill School follows The Cams Hill Way, with shared routines and expectations, an aligned curriculum, and standardised resources. The principles of the Cams Hill Lesson require teaching to the top, equitable questioning, and adaptive teaching; employing those strategies which are necessary for some and beneficial for all.
