Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide program security support in accordance with applicable DoD, Air Force, contractual, and company security requirements.
- Serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), or equivalent program security representative, for assigned activities.
- Coordinate security requirements with government security representatives, program personnel, subcontractors, and corporate security staff.
- Support personnel security actions, including verification of eligibility, access requirements, visit requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and associated security documentation.
- Maintain applicable security records, files, databases, and accountability documentation.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures, plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct security briefings and provide security-related guidance to assigned personnel.
- Support preparation for government and internal security reviews, inspections, and assessments.
- Assist with identification, documentation, and reporting of potential security incidents or violations in accordance with established procedures.
- Review program activities and documentation to ensure appropriate safeguarding, marking, handling, storage, transmission, and disposition of protected information.
- Coordinate physical and information security requirements for assigned work areas and activities.
- Support visitor control and access management processes.
- Provide security guidance to program managers, technical personnel, and other members of the workforce.
- Monitor changes to applicable security requirements and assist leadership with implementing necessary updates.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling sensitive or protected information.
- Perform other security-related duties as required to support contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience supporting industrial, program, personnel, physical, or information security activities within a Department of Defense or other federal environment.
- Working knowledge of DoD security policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience coordinating security actions involving government personnel, contractors, and multiple organizational stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and apply security regulations, contract requirements, and organizational procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common business information systems.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while effectively collaborating with a geographically and organizationally diverse team.
Security Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance, at minimum, is required for this position. Candidates who do not currently possess the required security clearance will not be considered.
- Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining applicable security eligibility and meeting all customer access requirements.
