Your Role

We are looking for a Business Technology Director with experience advising CIOs and CTOs and leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.

You will have a proven track record in IT strategy, IT operating model design, cloud transformation, and enterprise architecture roadmaps that improve IT's ability to deliver business outcomes. You will also have demonstrated success in growing client relationships through developing solutions and improvement initiatives that solve business challenges, while leading teams across strategy and transformation engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs, often acting as a trusted advisor, mediator, or thought leader.
  • Design technology strategies and roadmaps that help clients transition to modern operating models and platforms.
  • Champion and promote Sustainable IT and technology practices.
  • Design and implement modern, platform-based architectures.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize technology costs and maximize value from technology investments.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams across local and virtual environments.
  • Partner with Business Development Executives to identify, pursue, and develop new opportunities.

What You'll Bring

  • 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, and digital architecture.
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in: IT / Digital Strategy; IT / Digital Operating Model Design; IT Service Management; Technology Cost Optimization
  • Expertise in: Cloud advisory and strategy; Cloud operating models Cloud transformation design; CxO cloud coachinga; Cloud business case development and benefits modelling; Cloud adoption initiatives; Digital workplace transformation (Microsoft 365/O365)
  • Knowledge of: Enterprise Architecture; Digital Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP); Application Rationalisation and Modernisation API; Strategy and Management
  • Experience developing and delivering technology implementation roadmaps.
  • Ability to align business and technology objectives.
  • Experience driving Agile and DevOps transformations.
  • Relevant certifications in: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Agile methodologies (SPC, SA, SAFe Architect)
  • Experience with outsourcing and shared services models.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and resource management capabilities.
  • Experience working across multiple industries and sectors.
  • Excellent communication, client management, and negotiation skills.
