The posting

Capgemini is seeking a skilled Temenos Transact FX Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful implementation and enhancement of Temenos Transact FX solutions. You will gather and analyze business requirements, provide insights into foreign exchange operations, and support system configuration to drive business improvements and operational efficiency.

As a Temenos Transact FX Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, validate system functionalities, and participate in UAT processes. You will play a crucial role in facilitating communications between business units and IT to ensure system alignment with business goals.

The key requirements of this multi-facted role are:

Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Produce high-quality artefacts including:
  • Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Specifications (FS)
  • Process flows and swimlane diagrams
  • Data mappings and interface specifications
  • Ensure clear traceability of requirements through design, build, test, and deployment.

Temenos Transact FX Functional Expertise

  • Act as the functional SME for FX in Temenos Transact, including:
  • FX deal capture (spot, forward, swaps – as applicable)
  • Deliverable FX products (sport and forward)
  • Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) for restricted currencies
  • FX rates, spreads, and pricing models
  • FX settlement and nostro/vostro processing
  • FX accounting and P&L treatment
  • Revaluation and end-of-day processing
  • Configure and support Transact FX-related components in collaboration with technical teams (no standalone TAP configuration).
  • Advise on standard Transact functionality vs. customisation, promoting out-of-the-box usage where possible.

Integration & Data

  • Define and support FX-related integrations between Transact and surrounding systems, such as:
  • Trading or order capture systems
  • Market data / rate providers
  • Payments engines and clearing systems
  • GL, Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting platforms
  • Produce FX data mappings covering deal lifecycle, rates, settlements, and accounting entries.
  • Support reconciliation processes across FX, payments, and accounting systems.

Testing & Delivery Support

  • Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing phases for FX scope:
  • Review and validate FX test scenarios and test cases
  • Support defect triage and resolution
  • Validate FX results (rates, settlements, accounting postings)
  • Work closely with product owners and delivery leads to ensure FX scope is delivered on time and to quality.
  • Support cutover, migration, and go-live activities related to FX portfolios.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
