S:t Görans sjukhus driver ett av Stockholms tre Prostatacancercentrum – en verksamhet där patienten står i centrum genom hela vårdförloppet. Hit kommer män som utreds, opereras eller får onkologisk behandling för prostatacancer, och varje patient får en namngiven kontaktsjuksköterska som erbjuder stöd, kontinuitet och trygghet genom utredning, behandling samt pre- och rehabilitering.

Hos oss arbetar sjuksköterskorna som kontaktsjuksköterskor i en verksamhet som präglas av hög kompetens, starkt engagemang och ett genuint intresse för utveckling. Vi driver flera projekt med fokus på förbättrat patientomhändertagande och smartare arbetssätt, och vi värdesätter en kultur där vi delar kunskap, ställer frågor och utvecklas tillsammans.

Din roll

Som kontaktsjuksköterska blir du en viktig del av ett multiprofessionellt team tillsammans med undersköterskor, tidbokare, urologer och onkologer. På Prostatacancercentrum arbetar alla kontaktsjuksköterskor med både kirurgiska och onkologiska patienter, vilket ger en varierad och utvecklande roll.

För oss är en sammanhållen vårdkedja central. Målet är att patienter och närstående ska känna sig trygga, välinformerade och delaktiga i den vård vi erbjuder.

Arbetet innefattar bland annat telefonrådgivning och självständiga mottagningsbesök. Mottagningsarbetet består främst av behandlingsinformation samt uppföljning av olika behandlingar genom bedömning av blodprover, symtom, biverkningar och rehabiliteringsbehov. Även distanskontakter såsom brevsvar och digitala uppföljningar ingår i arbetet.

Arbetstiderna är förlagda till dagtid, måndag till fredag.

Om dig

Vi söker dig som är legitimerad sjuksköterska med erfarenhet av onkologisk och/eller kirurgisk omvårdnad. Du trivs med att samarbeta, tar gärna initiativ och arbetar strukturerat med god organisatorisk förmåga. Du är lösningsfokuserad, lyhörd och trygg i att prioritera och arbeta självständigt.

Du är professionell i ditt bemötande och tycker om att arbeta i ett varierande tempo med människor som har olika behov. För dig är det viktigt att göra ett arbete med kvalitet och engagemang.

I vår arbetsgrupp värdesätter vi kunskapsutbyte, nyfikenhet och viljan att utvecklas genom forskning och ny kunskap – alltid med patientens behov i fokus.

Det är meriterande om du är specialistsjuksköterska inom cancervård, arbetar eller har arbetat som kontaktsjuksköterska samt har erfarenhet av telefonrådgivning och mottagningsarbete.
