A well-established, family-owned Capital District automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and grow its service department.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive service management, with experience overseeing all aspects of department operations, including service advising, warranty administration, workflow management, team development, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

This is an opportunity for a results-driven leader who excels at building strong teams, improving operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficient workflow, timely turnaround, and high-quality repairs.
  • Establish, communicate, and monitor performance goals to drive productivity and accountability.
  • Manage department financial performance, maintaining or exceeding targeted profit margins.
  • Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Promote strong customer and employee retention through excellent service and team leadership.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5 years of Franchised auto dealership service management experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
