Bij Carcasse draait alles rond uitzonderlijk vlees, vakmanschap en een totaalbeleving die gasten nergens anders vinden. Als Sommelier/Assistent-Zaalverantwoordelijke ben je mee het gezicht van die beleving op de vloer.

Je verwelkomt gasten, begeleidt hen doorheen het verhaal van Carcasse en zorgt ervoor dat elke service vlekkeloos verloopt. Je ondersteunt de Maître bij de dagelijkse werking van de zaal en neemt diens verantwoordelijkheden op wanneer nodig.

Vanuit jouw passie voor gastronomie, gastvrijheid en producten van topkwaliteit adviseer je gasten over gerechten, dranken en combinaties die hun ervaring versterken. Wijn maakt daarbij deel uit van het totaalplaatje, maar steeds als ondersteuning van het culinaire verhaal waarvoor Carcasse gekend is. Het is echter wel de bedoeling om met onze eigen wijnhuizen te blijven werken.

Je werkt nauw samen met het zaalteam, de keuken en de Maître om een warme, professionele en persoonlijke service te bieden. Met aandacht voor detail, productkennis en oprechte gastvrijheid draag je elke dag bij aan de unieke Carcasse-ervaring.

Daarom herken jij jezelf hierin:

  • Je hebt een uitgesproken passie voor wijn, gastronomie en hospitality.
  • Je beschikt over een degelijke kennis van wijn en bent gemotiveerd om jezelf hierin verder te verdiepen. De wijnkaart is zorgvuldig samengesteld en kan in overleg met de verantwoordelijken mogelijks geoptimaliseerd worden.
  • Je adviseert gasten met vertrouwen en enthousiasme over wijn- en drankencombinaties.
  • Je begrijpt dat echte gastvrijheid schuilt in de details en persoonlijke aandacht.
  • Je bent een teamspeler die collega's ondersteunt en mee het goede voorbeeld geeft op de vloer.
  • Je blijft rustig en professioneel, ook tijdens drukke services.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en houdt overzicht zonder het contact met gasten te verliezen.
  • Je hebt oog voor kwaliteit, presentatie en service.
  • Ervaring in een gastronomische of kwalitatieve restaurantomgeving is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en/of Engels.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar hoge verwachtingen hand in hand gaan met plezier en passie voor het vak.
