How This Role Makes a Difference

The Director, Strategic Growth & Operations for Global Study Operations serves as a central operations integration leader connecting Global Study Operations with the rest of Care Access. This role aligns priorities across functions, turns strategic goals into executable plans, and drives follow-through on the operating rhythms, process design, analytics, and cross-functional initiatives required to scale study delivery. The Director partners closely with senior leaders across departments to surface decisions, remove blockers, coordinate interdependencies, and ensure key programs move from concept through implementation.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Lead central operations integration across Global Study Operations and partner functions, aligning priorities, owners, timelines, and handoffs across departments so key initiatives move forward without gaps.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders by shaping priorities, evaluating growth and operating-model opportunities, preparing executive-ready materials, and translating decisions into clear action plans for the organization.
  • Build and run governance for priority workstreams, including project plans, milestones, risk and issue tracking, budget and resource coordination, meeting cadence, action-item follow-through, and concise status reporting for leadership.
  • Design and improve operating processes, playbooks, and roles-and-responsibilities models; map workflows across teams; and support capability-building through tools, analytics, training materials, and implementation support.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and business-performance insights to measure initiative success, identify bottlenecks, recommend adjustments, and support continuous operational improvement.
  • Other Responsibilities: Prepare content for leadership meetings, business reviews, decision forums, and strategic planning sessions. Support cross-functional program design or relaunch efforts, including delivery, site network, and market-expansion initiatives tied to Global Study Operations. Facilitate recurring operating reviews and track decisions, risks, and action items to completion across departments. Contribute to system, workflow, and change-management efforts that improve visibility, accountability, and execution.

The Expertise Required

  • Strong strategic planning, PMO, and business operations leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Ability to act as a central integrator across functions, ensuring alignment, follow-through, and clear decision-making on shared priorities.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, briefing materials, and decision support for senior leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across executive leaders, operations teams, external partners, and community or government stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with process mapping, playbook development, governance cadences, and accountability structures that improve execution.
  • Strong analytical skills, including KPI design, dashboard interpretation, and translation of findings into action plans.
  • Comfort coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously, including budgets, timelines, resourcing, risks, and dependencies.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Suite, Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and project/reporting platforms (MS Project, SmartSeets, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, etc.) required.
  • Experience in healthcare, public health, global health, provider operations, or clinical research is strongly preferred.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience

  • Minimum Education: Preferred: MBA, MPH, MHA, or related advanced degree(s); PMP or similar certification; and experience with partnership development, change management, process design, market expansion, or multi-country and clinical research environments.
  • Minimum Experience: 8+ years in strategy, operations, program management, business transformation, healthcare consulting, global health operations, or related leadership roles; and success leading complex cross-functional initiatives with measurable operational outcomes.
  • Licenses: Valid passport and ability to travel.

  • Location: Remote within the United States. This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment.
  • Travel: This role requires up to 30% international travel requirements, further explained below. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
