Now Hiring - Medical Records Clerk - Whippany, NJ

CareOne at Hanover Township

Salary Range: $17-$26 per Hour

The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Maintain patient records via data entry of non-drug orders

2. Verify accuracy of medication orders

3. Medical terminology required for maintenance of diagnosis

4. Print quality assurance required monthly forms for assigned facilities

5. Print and provide reports to assigned facilities on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis

6. Provide stock forms to facilities when requested

7. Scan monthly recaps into Docutrack

8. Answer phones

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Professional Experience:

  • 1 year experience in medical records
  • Familiar with Medical Terminology, QA, brand name/generic medications and strong knowledge of SIG Codes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Organized
  • Detail Oriented
  • Must be able to work in a face paced environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Strong customer service skills
