Wat ga je doen?

Als verpleegkundige ben jij een belangrijk eerste aanspreekpunt voor bewoners met medische vragen of problemen. Je beoordeelt hun zorgvraag, stelt prioriteiten en zorgt ervoor dat ze indien nodig bij de juiste arts of externe zorgverlener terechtkomen.

Daarnaast:

  • voer je verpleegkundige consultaties uit;
  • verzorg je de medische intake en anamnese van nieuwe bewoners;
  • maak je medische dossiers op en volg je deze verder op;
  • volg je vaccinaties en TBC-screenings op;
  • verleen je eerste hulp en voer je verpleegtechnische handelingen uit, zoals wondzorg, inspuitingen en het voorbereiden en verdelen van medicatie;
  • plan je afspraken met externe zorgverleners en beheer je de medische agenda;
  • organiseer je consultaties met onder andere huisartsen en externe organisaties;
  • neem je deel aan interne en externe overlegmomenten;
  • beheer je de voorraad en bestel je medisch materiaal;
  • werk je mee aan gezondheidsprojecten, opleidingen en informatiemomenten;
  • help je gezondheidsbevorderende en educatieve sessies voor bewoners organiseren.

Kortom: een brede verpleegkundige functie waarin zorg, preventie, coördinatie en menselijk contact samenkomen.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken vooral een verpleegkundige die zich goed voelt in een diverse omgeving en graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt.

  • je beschikt over een bachelor-, graduaatsdiploma of brevet in de verpleegkunde, of een diploma verloskunde van vóór 1 oktober 2018;
  • beschikt over een visum van de FOD Volksgezondheid;
  • hebt minstens 3 maanden relevante professionele ervaring als verpleegkundige binnen een organisatie, ziekenhuis of kliniek, of als zelfstandige;
  • kunt zelfstandig werken, prioriteiten stellen en beslissingen nemen;
  • bent stressbestendig en denkt oplossingsgericht;
  • werkt graag samen met verschillende disciplines;
  • kunt vlot overweg met Word en Excel en hebt geen probleem met administratieve taken.

Ervaring binnen een multidisciplinaire omgeving en kennis van Engels of andere talen zijn mooie troeven, maar geen vereiste.
