About The Role

Join Our Caring Community at Wickmeads!

Role: Administrator

Location: 2 Wickmeads Road, Tuckton, Bournemouth, Dorset BH6 4LG

Pay: £12.85 per hour

Hours: 28 hours per week on average, working a two-week rota of 5 days in Week 1 and 3 days in Week 2, including alternate weekends

Shifts: 9:00 - 16:30

Come and join our team at Wickmeads, our beautiful care home located in Tuckton, Bournemouth.

You’ll be able to support our residents in a safe and caring environment where they can live their lives as if in the comfort of their own home.

What you will be doing:

  • First point of contact reception duties – dealing with both calls and visitors to the home, including family members and external medical professionals
  • Dealing with external suppliers regarding quotes, deliveries and invoices/statements.
  • Providing invoices for payment to our Head Office finance team
  • Process monthly in-house payroll
  • Support the Home Manager with recruitment admin – ensuring correct candidate documents are obtained, references are sought and DBS checks are submitted

Who we are looking for:

  • Current experience in an administration role
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office – Word & Excel
  • Well organised and with the ability to prioritise.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
