The posting

A bit about us

Cartrack is a smart mobility SaaS company with 2.6 M+ subscribers across 23 countries. We build the software fleet operators use every day, vehicle telematics, AI-powered cameras, driver safety tools, maintenance and cost management, delivery and field services. Our design team is small, senior, and hands-on: designers here own their work end to end, from discovery through shippable prototypes, not just handoff decks.

Role & Responsibilities

We organise the product into problem spaces, each with one persona, one job and one metric. Driver Safety is measured by high-risk events per 1,000 km. Maintenance by fleet availability. Stay Compliant by driver-days with zero open violations.

You will own one of these spaces: its research, its vision, its roadmap and its metric. Every request about the space, from sales, success and support, comes to you.

We work prototype-first: we show ideas as clickable prototypes, not long specs. You'll get there with our designers. If you can also build prototypes yourself with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, v0 or Lovable, you'll move faster here, and we'll give you the room to do it.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role. We're open on level: we'll match the scope of the space to your experience.

You Should apply if you

● Want to own an outcome, not a backlog.

● Make decisions with data, and say no out loud.

● Like hard operational problems: regulation, hardware, data that arrives late or not at all.

● Have started prototyping your own ideas, or want to. Not required, but it is how we like to work.

You will

● Learn the space. Benchmark competitors, interview customers and our sales, support and success teams, and mine tickets and usage data. Publish a state-of-the-space report each quarter.

● Set the vision. Show where the space will be in 12–24 months and get the executive team, sales and engineering behind it.

● Plan. Turn the vision into a roadmap of dated milestones. Say what you are not doing.

● Prototype. Turn each milestone into a prototype before engineering commits: with our designers, or yourself with AI tools.

● Ship. Write specs with engineering, plan the rollout, and brief sales and marketing. Done means customers use it.

● Measure. Own a live scorecard for the space, reviewed monthly, and decide the next iteration.

What You need

● Minimum 5years as a PM owning a B2B product or product area end to end. This is not an entry-level role.

● Discovery: you run customer interviews and turn tickets and usage data into a clear problem.

● Prioritisation: you make trade-offs, say no, and make it visible on a roadmap.

● You define metrics and move them.

● You work closely with engineering and design on scope, specs and edge cases.

● Commercial sense: pricing, packaging, launches and sales enablement.

● Clear, short writing and the ability to align senior stakeholders.

Stronger Plus: Builder side

None of this is required. All of it will make you stand out.

● You prototype your own ideas with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0, Lovable or similar), and users have clicked through them.

● Engineering has built from a prototype you made.

● You think in user flows and test your ideas with users before they are built.

● You read code, query data or ship small changes yourself.

● A background in telematics, fleet, logistics or transport, ideally across several countries.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
