About Casa Vostra

Casa Vostra is the Italian brand of Mission Group, a Singapore hospitality group with a portfolio of restaurant concepts. Casa Vostra was named Best Fast Casual Restaurant at the Restaurant Association of Singapore’s Epicurean Star Award 2026. We’re opening our 4th outlet at Wisma Atria in November 2026, with more planned for 2027.

We don’t take reservations, only walk-ins. That makes our Host the first and most important person our guests meet. You set the pace of the restaurant on every service.

About the role

As Host, you’ll run the front of house flow: the queue, the seating and the final bill. You’ll keep a busy, walk-in-only restaurant moving smoothly and make sure every guest feels looked after from the moment they join the line.

Key responsibilities

Queue management

  • Greet every guest warmly and manage the walk-in queue during peak hours
  • Give accurate wait-time estimates and keep waiting guests updated
  • Keep the queue orderly, comfortable and friendly, and handle impatient guests calmly and professionally

Seating and table turnover

  • Plan seating to make the most of the restaurant’s capacity, matching party sizes to tables
  • Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to track table status and speed up turnover
  • Rearrange or combine tables as needed during busy periods

Billing and payment

  • Process bills and payments accurately at the end of each meal
  • Handle cash, card and digital payments, and reconcile collections at the end of each shift
  • Answer billing questions and resolve discrepancies politely

Guest experience

  • Be the face of Casa Vostra at the entrance and keep the host stand neat
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints, and escalate to the Manager on Duty (MOD) when needed
  • Support the floor team during service when required

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a host, cashier or front-of-house team member in a busy restaurant, café or retail setting. Candidates with less experience who have the right attitude are welcome to apply.
  • Confident, friendly and calm under pressure
  • Strong communication skills in English. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Good organisation and quick decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
