Cascade Engineering Technologies - Shop Assistant

Pay: $20- $26 per hour + 11% differential

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Canby, OR

We specialize in metrology-based machining of titanium and Inconel castings, Inconel forgings, and aluminum components serving both commercial and defense sectors globally.

Job Summary

Daily cleaning and minor maintenance of CNC Machines and general maintenance of CNC Machine Shop. Moving raw material and other items as required with forklift.

Shift: Weekend Days, Friday- Sunday 5:00 AM- 5:30 PM

Responsibilities and Duties

- Maintaining chip removal and recycling from CNC machines

- Cleaning and removing metal chips from CNC Machines

- Daily maintenance of coolant/oil levels on CNC machines

- Daily maintenance of CNC Machine Shop area

- Transport of goods and products between buildings

- Assisting with unloading of incoming shipments

- Provide suggestions for improvements to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce costs

- Janitorial duties

- Other duties as required

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Desire to acquire knowledge of repairs/maintenance of CNC machinery.

- Ability to operate Forklift.

- Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to effectively prioritize duties and be self-directing.

- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
