Job description

Cash Access UK’s mission is to sustain communities by supporting the millions of people and small businesses who depend on cash every day. This shared purpose brings our colleagues together and guides the work we do. Every role contributes to delivering the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve.

We all have the opportunity to leave a legacy with the work we do. We’re looking for talented individuals who’ll leave the organisation with a better culture than when they joined.

The role holder will work within a small team accountable for the procurement and management of suppliers within the company.

They will coordinate with stakeholders across the supply chain including the Counter Service Provider, Facilities Manager, and Participating Firms (Banks and Building Societies) to ensure the Banking Hubs and other customer solutions are operating as required on a day-to-day basis.

Accountabilities

  • Support the Contract Manager in the delivery of the contract / supplier management framework to ensure the effective and controlled operation of the company and live solutions.
  • Lead on the procurement and negotiation of lower tier contracts and location partner agreements.
  • Support the Contract Manager in the procurement of new suppliers.
  • Onboard new suppliers in-line with the procurement policy.
  • Complete KYS and AML due diligence checks on new suppliers and monitor compliance of established suppliers
  • Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment through control testing.
  • Strong collaboration with and management of supply chain to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate supplier governance forums and associated administration.
  • Support the review of supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive actions to enhance customer service.
  • Support the Contract Manager with the management of the solutions budget, including: reviewing and validating supplier invoices and collaborating with third party suppliers to drive cost efficiencies.
  • Document, manage and mitigate risks associated with the operation.

Capabilities/skills

  • Experience and knowledge of contract / supplier management discipline essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of procurement practices with regards to third parties / outsourced operations.
  • Experience in working in an operational environment desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • High-level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Keeps calm under pressure.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working in a team or on their own as required.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; flexible and comfortable with demands and expectations prone to changing daily.

Our Culture and Mindsets

At the heart of our organisation are our values and mindsets, which shape our culture. We’re committed to enabling a collaborative, inclusive, and purpose-driven environment where everyone belongs and is trusted to make a difference. Purpose - ‘Our work is more important than our collective success, people out there rely on us every day.’

Failure - ‘Sometimes we will fail, but we will do it well.’

Ambiguity and the unknown - ‘The known is definitive, comfortable but boring. We embrace the unknown where opportunity and excitement exist.’

Inclusion - ‘We are curious; we care enough to ask then listen first without judgement.’

Growth and development - ‘A commitment to develop and grow is the greatest contribution you can make to the team. Own it.’

Diversity - ‘We are all the same in that we are all unique. We celebrate our differences however they present themselves.’

Culture - ‘The culture you are creating today is your legacy to those that come after you.’

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
