About the Role We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic .NET Developer Intern who is eager to learn, build, and contribute to real-world applications. As part of the Engineering team, you will work closely with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server, and cloud technologies. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest in backend or full-stack development and want to begin their career in a fast-paced product-based environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
  • Support the development and integration of RESTful Web APIs
  • Understand API request/response flows and backend application logic
  • Work with SQL Server to perform CRUD operations and manage application data
  • Write and optimize basic SQL queries, including SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and JOIN
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings
  • Follow coding standards, development best practices, and documentation guidelines
  • Support application testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with Web APIs and HTTP request/response concepts
  • Knowledge of basic Git commands and version-control practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Exposure to Entity Framework Core
  • Awareness of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Basic understanding of application hosting and deployment concepts
  • Academic, internship, or personal projects developed using .NET technologies

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in backend or full-stack development
  • Candidates with relevant academic or personal projects are encouraged to apply
