About Site

The ~70,000‑square‑foot Manassas facility operates within Catalent’s Consumer Health portfolio, supporting programs from early development through commercial manufacturing and packaging. It is designed for dietary supplement and food‑safety cGMP operations, making it distinct from Catalent’s traditional pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing sites.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for an Operator - Lozenge to join our team supporting production according to Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards. This role follows specific instructions from the Production Manager or Supervisor and contributes to daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines. The Operator will perform a variety of tasks independently and under general supervision.

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 6pm Location: Manassas, VA 100% Onsite

The Role

  • Assist in all aspects of production processes.
  • Document batch records in real time.
  • Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as scales.
  • Load product, wrappers, and bags into equipment.
  • Monitor product quality and report any abnormalities or defects.
  • Ensure strict attention to quality controls.
  • Move product between areas using carts, totes, drums, or pallets.
  • Clean and sanitize areas during product changeovers according to batch records.
  • Prepare product, boxes, wrappers, and ingredients.
  • Load boxes onto pallets and move loaded pallets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area during production.
  • Maintain daily logbooks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally move up to 1000 pounds. Regular standing, handling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required.
