Job Title: Custodian, Full-time (40 hrs./wk.)

Mon.- Fri. 12:30pm -9:00pm Reports to: Maintenance Director and/or Principal Location: Saint Ann School | Naples, Florida

Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt

Overview

Saint Ann Catholic School Naples, Florida is seeking a Full-Time Custodian. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas of the school, ensuring that all rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Adheres to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies following local, state, and OSHA regulations.
  • Uses and wears safety and/or protective equipment, as appropriate.
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Reports all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Maintenance Director immediately, or as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Attends in-service training to develop and improve knowledge and skills of cleaning service work.
  • Complies with and supports school regulations and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Administration in accordance with school policies.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience as a maintenance worker, custodian, or janitor
  • An understanding of cleaning equipment and how to maintain them
  • Understanding safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items
  • Ability to lift approximately 50lbs.without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, climb continuously.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Occasional Weekend hours will also be set in advance for specific events, as needed.
  • Must pass a post offer physical exam.
