SEO Specialist – Short-Term Contract

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to provide short-term cover for a couple of weeks, supporting SEO activity across our portfolio of theatre and live entertainment websites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical SEO knowledge, experience conducting website audits, and an understanding of how to optimise websites for traditional search engines and AI-driven search platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and update meta titles across all show websites to improve search visibility, relevance and click-through rates.
  • Review, implement and optimise structured data and schema markup across all shows to support search engine understanding and eligibility for rich results.
  • Conduct AI SEO audits across current West End and Broadway productions, identifying opportunities to improve visibility across AI-powered search and discovery platforms.
  • Complete comprehensive SEO audits across all London show websites, assessing technical performance, on-page optimisation, indexing, crawlability, site structure and content.
  • Identify technical issues and prioritise actionable recommendations to improve organic search performance.
  • Provide clear documentation of findings, recommended fixes and opportunities for ongoing optimisation.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant internal teams to ensure SEO updates are implemented accurately and efficiently.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in SEO, ideally within entertainment, ticketing, theatre, hospitality or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, metadata optimisation and structured data, including schema markup.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive website audits using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush.
  • Familiarity with AI SEO, generative engine optimisation (GEO) and the evolving role of AI-powered search platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within a short timeframe.

Contract Details

This is a short-term contract opportunity for approximately two weeks, with a focus on delivering practical SEO improvements and actionable audit findings across our show portfolio.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly assess priorities and make a meaningful impact on our organic search performance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
