Wykonywanie ręcznych prac szlifierskich i wykończeniowych na elementach głównie ze stali nierdzewnej; szlifowanie, wygładzanie, gratowanie i przygotowanie powierzchni elementów zgodnie z dokumentacją techniczną i wymaganiami jakościowymi; wykonywanie obróbki powierzchniowej elementów przeznaczonych dla branży spożywczej i medycznej, z zachowaniem wysokich standardów higieny i jakości powierzchni; uzyskiwanie wymaganej chropowatości, gładkości oraz jakości powierzchni zgodnie z wymaganiami technologicznymi; usuwanie spoin, nierówności, zadziorów, przebarwień i innych niedoskonałości powierzchni; przygotowywanie powierzchni po procesach cięcia, gięcia, spawania i innych operacjach produkcyjnych; wykonywanie szlifowania zarówno powierzchni płaskich, jak i elementów o złożonych kształtach oraz trudno dostępnych miejsc; dobór odpowiednich narzędzi, materiałów ściernych oraz parametrów pracy do rodzaju materiału i wykonywanej operacji; obsługa elektronarzędzi oraz ręcznych narzędzi szlifierskich, zgodnie z instrukcjami stanowiskowymi; kontrola wizualna wykonanych powierzchni oraz bieżąca ocena jakości wykonanej pracy; kontrola wymiarów i jakości elementów po obróbce, zgodnie z dokumentacją techniczną i wymaganiami klienta; dbanie o właściwy stan techniczny używanych narzędzi i wyposażenia stanowiska pracy; współpraca ze spawaczami, operatorami maszyn, kontrolą jakości oraz pozostałymi pracownikami produkcji; dbanie o czystość i porządek na stanowisku pracy oraz właściwe zabezpieczenie obrabianych elementów.
