Teacher – Primary Years St Martin de Porres School is seeking a passionate, contemporary and committed educator to join our teaching team as a Permanent Full-time Primary Teacher from January 2027.   About Us St Martin de Porres Primary School proudly serves the communities of Sheidow Park, Trott Park and Hallett Cove. Community is at the heart of our school and every student is at the centre of all we do. At St Martin de Porres School you will find excellent facilities, an exceptional and caring staff and a strong academic focus for children’s learning. Our current enrolment is 580 students from Reception to Year 6 and we are part of R-12 Catholic Education pathway which includes Cardijn College, Sacred Heart college and Cabra College.   About You The successful applicant will:

Support the wellbeing, development and individual needs of every learner. Contribute positively to the life of the school beyond the classroom. Have experience in inclusive education pedagogies and practices. Be a dynamic educator who is committed to ongoing personal and professional learning; working collaboratively as part of a Professional Learning Community.

  Role Description

Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity of St Martin de Porres School. Demonstrate an excellent understanding of innovative, inclusive and evidence-based teaching pedagogies in the Primary Years. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum. Demonstrate the effective use of data to inform Teaching and Learning programs to improve learning outcomes for all students. Have experience with the MSL approach to Literacy development. Be able to use the PBIS approach to classroom management and be able to support student and community wellbeing. Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, parents and the broader community.
