Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Narrative Producer to join our team working on Cyberpunk 2, the next mainline Cyberpunk 2077 game. In this role you will be at the forefront of our creative endeavors, guiding our developers to deliver content and foster an innovative and collaborative production culture. If you are passionate about creating games and have the experience guiding teams to success, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead Narrative Producer to drive the development and growth of our production team.
  • Cooperate with our narrative leadership and cross-functional development teams, ensuring alignment with our vision and goals.
  • Partner closely with Narrative, Quest Design, Cinematics, Animation, Audio, and other development teams to ensure narrative content is aligned with the project’s vision, goals, and production needs.
  • Form and nurture cohesive, effective, and collaborative teams that are empowered to self-organize and deliver high-quality narrative experiences.
  • Oversee and enhance production processes, including project planning, scoping, scheduling, roadmaps, and requirements gathering, ensuring narrative content and its cross-disciplinary dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks across the narrative production pipeline, fostering incremental delivery and frequent integration.
  • Ensure narrative goals, priorities, and deliverables are clearly defined, transparent, and understood across collaborating teams.
  • Advocate for actionable and beneficial improvements to narrative production workflows, challenging the status quo where needed.
  • Visualize and prioritize work, remove obstacles, and help teams proactively identify and solve production challenges.
  • Support the growth of our teams through dedicated coaching and mentoring, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and development.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Producer in game development, including leading projects, managing producers, and building and developing teams.
  • Experience developing and shipping AAA narrative RPG titles, including managing large-scale projects.
  • Experience overseeing gameplay content production, from planning and development through delivery.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the game development lifecycle, fostering team autonomy and collaboration, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, technical constraints, and engineering practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and DevOps.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, particularly Jira and Confluence, to support efficient production workflows.
  • Ability to identify challenges early, propose practical solutions, and collaborate on resolving them.

Nice to have

  • A genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
