With over $1 Billion in active projects and completed upgrades for prestigious clients like the U.S. Department of Energy and USACE, we aren't just building structures—we are pioneering the future of sustainable infrastructure. At CEG Solutions you are a key leader in a collaborative, tech-forward environment where team collaboration, professional development and mentorship are part of our DNA.

The Mission

As our Superintendent, you are the backbone of our construction site operations for high-stakes projects in Washington, D.C. You will work with a project team managing site safety, subcontractor performance, quality control and the sophisticated commissioning of MEP systems. We are looking for leaders who thrive on proactive problem-solving and want to see their projects reach peak performance. This role requires the ability to work evening shift work from 6pm to 4am EST and will transition to day shifts with occasional evening shift rotations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Preconstruction: Play a vital role in project success by assisting in the bidding process for M/E trades. You will manage the equipment procurement lifecycle, ensuring high-value assets arrive on budget and on time through meticulous tracking and coordination.
  • Command Site Operations: Lead MEP trade subcontractors with a focus on efficient sequencing, manpower optimization, and strict adherence to technical specifications.
  • Innovate & Problem Solve: Identify field installation conflicts early and collaborate with the design team to implement immediate, effective solutions.
  • Safety Leadership: Beyond compliance, you will foster a site-wide safety culture, ensuring OSHA standards are a standard of excellence, not just a checkbox.
  • Technical Mastery: Oversee the critical startup and functional testing of complex mechanical, electrical, and control systems, ensuring seamless third-party commissioning.
  • Client Stewardship: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with federal and state stakeholders, serving as the face of CEG on-site.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Leader: You bring at least 5 years of mechanical/electrical construction experience, with a deep understanding of mission-critical systems.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Procore and other digital project management tools.
  • Action-Oriented: You are a motivated self-starter who enjoys the challenge of coordinating complex MEP activities and seeing them through to completion.
  • Ready for Impact: You are willing to be on-site in Washington, D.C.

What We Offer

  • Market-Leading Compensation: Competitive annual salary based on Washington D.C. benchmarks
  • Incentive Opportunities: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses tied to project milestones and personal achievements.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Full health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) and generous PTO.
  • Growth & Support: A supportive culture that values your career progression and provides the tools you need to succeed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Performance of the job responsibilities will require the ability to (1) use tools and operate equipment in the field, (2) ascend/descend both exterior and interior ladders/stairs, and (3) move safely around an area under construction. The employee must also be able to easily communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other employees and observe various pieces of equipment in the field. The employee must occasionally move and/or transport up to 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the construction work site where the employee is at risk of moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Personal protection equipment and required safety training will be provided by the employer.

Join our team and contribute to building a sustainable future!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
