JOB SUMMARY

Preference will be given to candidates who possess extensive work experience using social media platforms. • Creating and distributing mailings in Pardot.
  • Developing and managing the program’s social media presence.
  • Providing research support to Africa Program staff.
  • Compiling research and data into literature reviews, summaries, backgrounders, and short publications to support the program’s research portfolio.
  • Maintaining and improving databases of stakeholders and contacts.
  • Assisting with event planning, including drafting invitation letters, conducting background research, drafting questions, and staffing events.
  • Monitoring and reporting on news and developments in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Performing a variety of administrative tasks as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong candidates will be able to commit to a full-time internship (35 hours/week) from January 2027 to early June 2027, and possess the following attributes:

  • A. (completed or in progress) Degree in African Studies, Political Science, International Relations, History, Public Policy, International Development, or other relevant fields preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
