- Vedúci úseku starostlivosti o deti je zamestnancom, ktorý zabezpečuje chod samostatne usporiadaných skupín, zodpovedá za dodržiavanie právnych predpisov, interných noriem na úseku starostlivosti o deti - Je nadriadený vychovávateľom, pomocným vychovávateľom, sestrám, opatrovateľkám a pracovníkom odborného tímu CDR (psychológ, špeciálny pedagóg a sociálny pracovník).· - Organizuje, koordinuje a kontroluje výchovno-vzdelávaciu činnosť v samostatných skupinách detí a v samostatných špecializovaných skupinách detí. - Organizuje ošetrovateľskú a opatrovateľskú starostlivosť v samostatných špecializovaných skupinách detí. - Za správny výkon činnosti zodpovedá riaditeľke Centra pre deti a rodiny. - Vykonáva a zodpovedá za komplexnú výchovno-vzdelávaciu činnosť zameranú na rozvíjanie celkových schopností detí, za výsledky výchovno-vzdelávacej práce a za kvalitné diagnostikovanie detí po výchovnej stránke. - Vypracováva plán hlavných úloh úseku starostlivosti o deti, zabezpečuje a kontroluje jeho dodržiavanie. - Odporúča pedagogické opatrenia s cieľom zvyšovania efektívnosti výchovných metód a následným zmenám správania a konania detí.
