Waterzuivering beheren en optimaliseren

Jij zorgt ervoor dat de biologische waterzuiveringsinstallatie betrouwbaar en efficiënt blijft functioneren. Dat betekent niet alleen controleren of alles goed draait. Je begrijpt wat er in het proces gebeurt, onderzoekt afwijkingen en zoekt actief naar mogelijkheden om de installatie beter te laten presteren.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je volgt dagelijks de werking van de biologische waterzuiveringsinstallatie op.
  • Je controleert onder andere pompen, sensoren, niveaus en procesparameters en grijpt in wanneer waarden beginnen af te wijken.
  • Je voert eenvoudige analyses uit, organiseert externe staalanalyses en interpreteert de resultaten.
  • Je onderzoekt procesproblemen en probeert de oorzaak ervan te achterhalen.
  • Je volgt ook de werking van milieutechnische installaties zoals de RTO, biobedden en wassers mee op.
  • Je zoekt actief naar verbeteringen waarmee je het proces stabieler, efficiënter of duurzamer kunt maken.
  • Je beheert de nodige procesgegevens, rapportages en administratieve opvolging.

En ja: dit is echt een hands-on functie. Ongeveer de helft van je tijd ben je actief op de installatie, de andere helft werk je aan analyses, opvolging en administratie.

Hands-on specialist in biologische waterzuivering

Je sterkte zit vooral in het begrijpen van biologische en biochemische processen en het vertalen van die kennis naar een installatie die elke dag goed moet functioneren.

Functie-eisen

  • Je hebt ervaring met industriële waterzuivering en begrijpt hoe een biologisch waterzuiveringsproces werkt.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een bacheloropleiding binnen bijvoorbeeld milieutechnologie, biochemie of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een industriële productieomgeving.

Diepgaande mechanische expertise verwachten we niet. Daarvoor kun je rekenen op de collega's van de technische dienst. We verwachten wél dat je voldoende technisch inzicht hebt om een probleem te herkennen, de juiste diagnose te stellen en gericht actie te ondernemen.

  • Zelfstandig werkt en goed omgaat met vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid.

  • Praktisch ingesteld bent en er geen probleem van maakt om af en toe letterlijk de handen vuil te maken.
