Due to internal developments, we are now looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Officer to support the Belgian Sales & Marketing Team. You will work closely with colleagues from various departments and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the team.

About your job

As a Sales & Marketing Officer, you will provide all-round administrative and organisational support to our Belgian Sales & Marketing Team. You will play an important role in keeping processes, budgets, databases and practical activities well organised and up to date.

This is a varied role in which accuracy and structure are essential. One moment, you may be checking an invoice against a purchase order or updating a budget overview. The next, you may be carefully reviewing a product label or helping to organise an event.

If you enjoy bringing structure to a broad range of activities, supporting colleagues and combining administrative accuracy with practical organisation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Creating purchase order numbers and supporting the administrative processing of orders.
  • Reviewing and approving incoming invoices by checking them against the corresponding purchase orders.
  • Maintaining a clear overview of purchase orders, committed expenditure, outstanding amounts, and available budgets.
  • Carefully review product labels and support their accurate preparation and layout.
  • Monitoring general e-mail inboxes and answering or forwarding incoming questions to the appropriate colleague.
  • Keeping CRM data accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Providing administrative and practical support for commercial activities, including frequent sales reports and the preparation, printing and distribution of commercial mailings and price lists.
  • Order promotional items, gadgets, and other marketing materials.
  • Providing logistical and organisational support for trade fairs, meetings and events.
  • Support organising of our yearly Trial Field Days by coordinating invitations and registrations and maintaining an accurate overview of participant numbers.
  • Following up memberships and subscriptions and keeping contact details current.
  • Providing flexible, all-round administrative support wherever needed within the wider team.

About you

At Certis Belchim, we believe that great teams are built by people who are dependable, collaborative and willing to take responsibility. We are looking for someone who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in delivering accurate, well-organised work.

You are structured, precise and attentive to detail, particularly when working with invoices, budgets and product labels. You can independently organise your workload and determine priorities based on urgency and importance. At the same time, you communicate openly and raise potential difficulties in good time.

You have a hands-on attitude and do not wait for every task to be assigned. You notice what needs to be done and are willing to help with both recurring administrative processes and practical, ad hoc requests.

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or have reached an equivalent level through relevant professional experience.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role is an advantage, although your accuracy, attitude and organisational skills are more important than a specific educational background.
  • You work in a structured and precise way and have a strong eye for detail.
  • You are able to plan your own workload, set priorities and adapt when circumstances change.
  • You are proactive and notice what needs to be done without always waiting for detailed instructions.
  • You are comfortable contacting external partners, requesting information and checking quotations or practical arrangements.
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and French.
  • You are comfortable working with common Microsoft Office applications and are willing to learn the other systems used within the organisation.
  • You enjoy variety and are willing to provide practical support across different activities and teams.
  • You bring a positive, reliable and hands-on attitude to your work.

Working with us means

Join a collaborative and forward-thinking international organisation where people are at the heart of our success. Here, you can grow professionally, work alongside experts from around the world, and play an active role in shaping innovative solutions for a more sustainable future in Plant Health.

  • We support flexible working through a hybrid work model. As this is an office-based position, you will spend approximately 60% of your time in the office, while up to 40% of your working time can be spent working remotely from home.
  • A competitive salary between € 50.006 and € 62.578 is provided, complemented by a 10% performance-related annual bonus that recognises your contribution from the start.
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including meal vouchers, hospitalisation insurance, and other benefits in line with local market practice.
  • The satisfaction of knowing that your contributions are highly valued and recognised by colleagues across the organisation.
  • A culture built on our values Collaboration, Creativity, Passion, Integrity, and Ambition is experienced daily in the way colleagues work together and support each other.
  • Access to our Learning Academy, together with regular feedback and development conversations to support your career progression.
  • A strong commitment to work-life balance, supported by flexible working hours.
  • An understanding that success is not only about results, but also about the people who make those results possible.
  • Genuine collaboration and support from colleagues across the entire organisation.
  • The opportunity to join an established company with a strong reputation in its industry, while contributing to our journey towards a more sustainable future in Plant Health.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
