American manufacturer and distributor that specializes in takeout food packaging, condiments, and disposable tableware for the foodservice industry.

[Job Summary]

The Sales Rep. is a critical role that encompasses growing the business with targeted customers and markets within the U.S. They execute sales programs and strategies. In addition, the Sales Rep collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. They may recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. They provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in building relationships and hitting sales targets and setting profitable goals. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills with a strategic/commercial mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

[Job Description]

- Execute on sales objectives to achieve year over year growth by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region

- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them

- Develop field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs

- Coordinate activities with inside sales team

- Suggest new products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives

- Recommend to customers product alternatives to better meet their needs and increase sales

- Build and use database and analytical tools to report on sales and identify opportunities for improvement

- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions

- Analyze market conditions, including changes in business and economy throughout the industry that could affect sales. Identify financial and marketing strengths and weakness of customers, prospects and competitors, through the use of internal and external sources.

- Partner with Marketing to develop regional specific marketing programs.

- Participate in National and regional trade shows/conventions.

- Consistently complete all administrative duties required by the company and manager in areas of personal performance and sales performance including all required company forms and reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

- A minimum of two years of experience in Sales

- Must be bilingual in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin and/or Fukienese

- Previous experience working in Food Service industry, manufacturing and/or re-d.

- Strong sales personality with seasoned and savvy negotiating and relationship building skills

- Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and pursue them with a sense of urgency and self-motivation

- Strong communication and interaction skills, in particular with customers

- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude

- Availability to travel – meet face to face with customers each week in their region

- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
