The posting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by internal and external personnel
  • Assist in all aspects of accounting, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements within established deadlines
  • Monitor cash balances
  • Organize information and statements for audits and tax returns
  • Assist with local/state licensing and tax requirements

Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office 365; with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work well with executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members
  • With at least 3 years of experience

Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • At least 3 years' related experience
  • Experience with financial systems, preferably Sage 100

Job Type: Full-time
