The posting

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving the planning, coordination, governance, and execution of cross-functional technology programs and strategic initiatives across the Technology division.

The TPM serves as a central coordination point between Technology, Product Management, business stakeholders, and executive management, ensuring that technology initiatives are clearly defined, effectively planned, transparently tracked, and successfully delivered.

The role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, program management expertise, business orientation, and the ability to drive execution across multiple teams without necessarily having direct managerial authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination, planning, and tracking of technology programs and software-based projects across the Technology division.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program and project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive end-to-end program governance to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to understand business needs, translate them into executable technology initiatives, and serve as a key coordination point between Product and Technology.
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders across the organization to understand priorities, align expectations, and facilitate effective execution.
  • Identify cross-team dependencies, risks, execution bottlenecks, and conflicting priorities, and proactively drive mitigation and resolution in collaboration with Technology senior management.
  • Lead the tracking and monitoring of major strategic technology initiatives, such as trading platform stabilization, infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, AI adoption, and other technology-led programs.
  • Establish and maintain clear reporting mechanisms and dashboards that provide visibility into program status, milestones, risks, dependencies, priorities, KPIs, and delivery progress.
  • Facilitate program governance meetings, project reviews, steering committees, planning sessions, and executive status updates.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between technical teams, Product Management, business stakeholders, and executive management.
  • Drive accountability across programs by actively following up on commitments, action items, decisions, milestones, and project deliverables.
  • Monitor program health through relevant KPIs and metrics and provide data-driven insights, escalation, and recommendations when corrective action is required.
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve project and program management methodologies, governance processes, templates, tools, and best practices across the Technology division.
  • Coordinate post-project reviews, capture lessons learned and ensure that insights are incorporated into future programs and ways of working.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and operational excellence across the Technology organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or a similar role within a technology-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery processes, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and other technical teams.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-company and cross-functional projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including planning, dependency management, risk management, governance, and execution tracking.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and effectively bridge the gap between business, Product, and Technology teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs, metrics, and reporting to assess program health and support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence, create alignment, and drive accountability without relying on direct managerial authority.
  • Assertive, responsible, and highly accountable, with the confidence to challenge, escalate, and drive decisions when required.
  • Highly organized, proactive, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Advantage: Experience in fintech, financial services, trading platforms, or other regulated technology environments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
