Print Operator Role Purpose: The Print Operator operates and maintains digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed media, including canvas products. This role is responsible for meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards while completing orders according to production priorities.
We are in search for 2 Seasonal Print Operators for our 1st Shift at our print production facility in Grand Prairie, TX. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate digital printing equipment according to established procedures.
Produce orders based on priority dates and production schedules.
Monitor product quality and report defects or concerns.
Meet established productivity and throughput expectations.
Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
Use manufacturing and queue management software as required.
Perform operator-level preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Report equipment downtime and assist with repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.
Communicate production, safety, quality, and equipment concerns to the Lead or Manager.
Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Complete accurate shift-to-shift equipment handoffs.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous manufacturing, printing, or production experience preferred.
Basic computer skills are required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Dependable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or schedule changes as needed.
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 49 pounds independently and 50 pounds or more with assistance.
Requires sufficient vision, hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity to operate equipment safely.
Equipment may contain magnets that can interfere with pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.
