About the Role

Chapman Ford is seeking a motivated and dependable Lot Attendant to help create a welcoming first impression for customers while supporting dealership sales operations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and build a career in the automotive industry. With training and guidance from the Sales Management team, you'll have the opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the appearance and organization of new and used vehicle lots, ensuring vehicles are displayed according to dealership standards.
  • Keep vehicles clean and ready for customer demonstrations and test drives.
  • Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries as needed.
  • Prepare vehicle key tags and place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
  • Move vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking areas as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the sales lot.
  • Support dealership sales goals by helping create an inviting and organized environment for customers.

Qualifications

  • Previous lot attendant experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable walking or standing for extended periods and working outdoors for most of the day.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
