About the Role

Our Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale location in Scottsdale, AZ is currently seeking an Automotive Sales Specialist who will represent the Volkswagen brand while guiding customers through a seamless vehicle buying experience. In this role, you will help customers select the right new or pre-owned vehicle, demonstrate features and benefits, and support them through the entire purchase and delivery process. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional looking to build a long-term career in automotive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Green and engage customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
  • Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned Volkswagen vehicles, highlighting features and technology
  • Conduct test drives and explain warranties, maintenance programs, and ownership benefits
  • Guide customers through pricing, negotiations, and closing the sale with Sales Management support
  • Complete sales and financing paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Stay current on Volkswagen inventory, features, promotions, and financing programs
  • Deliver sold vehicles and assist with technology setup and vehicle orientation
  • Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and generate repeat and referral business
  • Respond to internet, phone, and showroom leads and schedule appointments
  • Log all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related field required
  • Automotive sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales effectively
  • Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and new technology
  • Strong work ethic with a customer-first mindset
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
