About Us

ChargerHelp! Inc is a California, USA-based technology company that has developed a mobile application and web-based platform for on-demand repair of electric vehicle charging stations. We are committed to professional and workforce development, diversity and inclusion, leveraging technology to remove barriers, and enabling economic mobility in underserved communities. We have a social responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint and lower greenhouse emissions.

ChargerHelp! is a driving force in the Cleantech space, executing a forward thinking, progressive approach to workforce development and EVSE field service. We develop the technology and provide the education and training to support growing demands and evolving trends in the electrical vehicle industry.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Certified EVSE Technician to join our local workforce in maintaining the critical infrastructure of the electric vehicle revolution. In this role, you will be the face of ChargerHelp! in the field, responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing EV charging stations to ensure they are clean, functional, and performing within design specifications.

As a Certified CH! Technician, you will utilize our proprietary mobile application to document site reviews, perform preventative maintenance, and execute complex break/fix services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong technical aptitude who is eager to operate at the intersection of electrical hardware and software diagnostics.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and service electrical charging infrastructure using a range of tools, from computer diagnostics to basic electrical equipment.
  • Measure charging infrastructure performance using appropriate technical tools and complete "driver experience" inspections via the CH! mobile app.
  • Maintain detailed, real-time documentation of all repairs, software troubleshooting, and site status updates to ensure project transparency.
  • Ensure all assigned services are delivered on time and within scope; escalate technical or site-level risks to management as needed.
  • Represent ChargerHelp! at client locations with the highest standards of professional conduct and communication.
  • Follow strict safety protocols to minimize project risks and ensure the safety of the technician and the public.
  • Attend industry conferences and mandatory CH! training sessions to maintain certification and stay current on evolving EVSE technology.

What You Bring

  • Strong hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or related field service; experience with electrical troubleshooting is highly preferred.
  • An enterprising attitude with the ability to operate independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal operations and management teams.
  • Resourceful and diligent documentation habits to ensure work orders are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in various environments, including ladders, extreme temperatures (heat/cold), and confined spaces.
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record demonstrating the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of automotive or vehicle systems is a plus.

Licensing & Certifications

  • Preferred: OSHA 10/30 certification, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety training.
  • Mandatory: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

What’s Essential

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostics, reporting, and communication.
  • Demonstrable electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of field technician experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Completion of ChargerHelp! Training upon onboarding.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical and Environmental Demands include but not limited to the following: lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching, sitting, standing, working from ladders, walking, working in extreme temperatures (cold/heat), confined quarters, excessive noise and high voltage
  • Travel required up to 75%

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
