Banding Operator | Night Shift

Pay: $26.50/hour Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Schedule: Rotating 5-2-2-5 schedule with 12-hour shifts

Enjoy a schedule that gives you more days off! Work 5 nights, have 2 off, work 2 nights, then enjoy 5 nights off.

What You'll Do

As a Banding Operator, you'll play an important role in preparing and handling steel coils while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

  • Enter and monitor production order information using a computer.
  • Identify steel coils by printing and applying accurate tags.
  • Operate coil compactors and other coil-handling equipment.
  • Use hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials safely.
  • Work closely with teammates to keep production running smoothly.
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures.
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team.

  • High school diploma or GED. Don't have your GED? We can help through our FREE GEDWorks program!
  • Basic math skills, including counting and simple calculations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehousing, welding, construction, steel, metals, or other hands-on work.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus!
  • A commitment to working safely and producing quality work.
