This role is focused on developing clear, compelling, and strategically-grounded creative copy and thinking across campaigns/projects, as well as all aspects of client-facing storytelling.

Responsibilities include:

Creative Writing & Brand Communications:

  • Develop creative copy across campaigns, brand identity systems, packaging, digital touchpoints, presentations, and brand guidelines
  • Translate brand strategy into clear, ownable messaging, including brand voice, tone of voice, messaging frameworks, taglines, headlines, naming concepts, and product copy
  • Write packaging copy, including front-of-pack messaging, romance copy, claims language, flavor/product descriptions, and communication hierarchy
  • Shape client-facing storytelling for creative concepts, pitch materials, case studies, credentials decks, and presentations
  • Partner with designers to ensure verbal and visual ideas work together as a cohesive brand expression
  • Adapt writing style across categories, audiences, and brand personalities
  • Edit and refine copy based on internal feedback, client direction, and strategic objectives

Collaboration & Creative Process:

  • Work closely with the Group Creative Director, Creative, and Account Teams to understand client needs, feedback, timelines, and deliverables
  • Participate in brainstorms, creative reviews, and internal concept development sessions
  • Help articulate the rationale behind creative ideas in a way that is clear, thoughtful, and client-ready
  • Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
  • Help teams uncover creative “hooks”/big ideas, sticky/memorable messaging, and work that works across various touchpoints

Brand & Industry Awareness:

  • Stay current on trends in branding and design, advertising campaigns, culture, and consumer goods
  • Bring a strong point of view on language, storytelling, and how brands can connect with consumers
  • Understand how copy works within packaging systems, shelf environments, brand campaigns, and broader consumer touchpoints
  • Provide recommendations on how verbal identity can strengthen brand distinctiveness, clarity, and emotional relevance

Salary: $125-155K

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a branding or advertising agency environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand writing, campaign thinking, packaging copy, messaging systems, and/or tone of voice development
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, not just write tactically

  • Comfortable developing work from early concept through final execution
  • Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
