As our next Customer Service Advisor (Trade Support), you'll be the first voice tradespeople hear when they need help, support or advice. Whether it's solving a problem, answering a question or showing them how to get more from their membership, you'll make every interaction simple, helpful and worth their time. That's how trades get back to winning work, and it's a big part of why they stay with us.

The job, unfiltered:

- Help tradespeople get more from Checkatrade by answering their calls and emails with care and confidence.

- Spot where you can add value, and guide members towards the tools, features or upgrades that support their goals.

- Solve the tricky ones: listen closely, think it through and use sound judgement to put things right.

- Escalate the right cases to the right teams, and work with them to get things sorted quickly.

- Share what you hear from members, so we can improve how we support them, cut repeat contact and build trust.

The fit:

- Customer service experience, ideally in a membership or B2B environment.

- Clear, calm and compassionate communication, even in tough conversations.

- A logical, problem-solving mindset. You work through issues methodically and keep things fair.

- Confidence working at pace and adapting when things change.

- Comfort with tech: systems like Salesforce Service Cloud, GSuite and AI-powered tools.
