Acting as a strategic conduit between product/engineering teams and treasury subject matter experts (SMEs) across multiple disciplines, this team ensures new product initiatives globally—from greenfield launches to complex payment flows—are financially sound, scalable, and compliant.

As Checkout.com http://Checkout.com expands its ecosystem, this role will serve as the primary driver and subject-matter expert for digital assets related initiatives from a Treasury perspective. Over time, the role holder will also build a deep, end-to-end understanding of Checkout’s broader infrastructure and product stack, enabling holistic, cross-domain strategic thinking and long-term portfolio diversification.

POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will be the gateway between Product and Treasury, translating innovative product ideas into methodologies, pragmatic design of processes and putting them into practices.

Global Crypto & Blockchain Initiative Leadership across two dimensions: You will act as the dedicated Treasury partner to enable Product-led crypto and digital asset initiatives, while also directly leading Treasury-driven digital asset native projects driving transformation and optimisation.

Holistic Checkout Infrastructure and Multi Product Mastery: While taking primary ownership of the digital asset roadmap, you will actively expand your expertise across Checkout’s core non-crypto infrastructure and product stack to ensure seamless integration with the fiat payments ecosystem.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strategic Partnering & Discovery: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Commercial and Legal) to review and advise on crypto/ digital asset related product development opportunities from the Treasury standpoint, helping to shape the strategy and path for execution.

- Single Point of Contact: Act as a primary point of contact for the Product teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination with relevant Treasury (SMEs). And vice versa.

- Business Requirement Ownership: Assess impacts for Treasury, and synthesize requirements from Treasury SMEs across different disciplines and geographies—including those related to risk management, bank relations, data, system integration and operational processes—are translated into actionable, prioritised business requirements incorporated into new product development and optimisation efforts.

- Digital Asset Native Treasury Leadership: Drive the digital assets native strategy and lead implementation to modernise the approach, infrastructure and tooling for Checkout’s Treasury management, working closely with Product and Engineering teams.

- Operational Readiness: Ensure that capabilities, data flows, and risk controls are robustly built, and processes and procedures are stood up before products go live and scale in production.

- Cross-domain excellence: Proactively develop all-round knowledge of Checkout’s infrastructure, product stack and flow of funds. Leverage this cross-domain insight to solve complex overlapping challenges between fiat and digital asset products, and contribute to broader New Products deliveries.

- New Products governance: Support the documentation and implementation of operating models, frameworks and policies relevant to New Products, and alignment at the Enterprise level

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Domain Expertise: Practical, hands-on experience operating with crypto wallets, or within the digital assets ecosystems (e.g., at a crypto-native firm, fintech innovator, or digital-asset banking unit).

- Treasury or Product Management Background: Hands-on experience in Treasury/Finance change management OR Product Management with direct exposure to complex payment infrastructure, flow of funds, and cash management.

- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage effectively with different stakeholders.

- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Communications: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

- Details & Velocity: Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
